SENCO Debuts Industry’s Most Powerful, Precise Construction Staplers

CINCINNATI, OH (October 29, 2018) – SENCO today unveiled two construction staplers boasting industry-leading power and an innovative new drive track that virtually eliminates misfires and jams.

The new NS20XP is 15 percent more powerful than all competitive heavy wire staplers in its class, and the NS20BXP adds 20 percent more power on top of that to handle the toughest jobs. Both utilize a new drive track design that prevents staples from moving, providing superior control. The enhanced EZ-Clear™ latch also employs a new aggressive locking feature for increased holding power. These advances mean virtually no skipping, jams or misfires, making users more productive.

“For more than 60 years, SENCO has been the leader in staplers, and the NS20XP and NS20BXP are our latest additions to the industry’s only complete lineup,” says Ryan Schuler, associate product manager, heavy construction at SENCO.

Both heavy wire staplers are ideal for residential construction applications, including sheathing, furniture framing, roof decking, subflooring, cedar shingles, furring, fascia and soffits, and ridge beam assembly. In industrial settings, the staplers, which offer multi-direction stitching up to 14 staples per second, can speed up crate, box and pallet assembly. Both can be converted to vinyl siding staplers. They drive both 16 and 17 gauge, 7/16″ crown staples (1″ to 2″ in length).

Easy to use and maneuver, the NS20XP and NS20BXP weigh just 5.1 and 5.8 pounds, respectively. SENCO’s product engineering team also designed industry-leading ergonomic and safety features for both. Soft, over-molded palm grips reduce fatigue, while well-balanced designs ensure safe operation.

“Given the construction industry’s severe labor shortage, it’s crucial that tools be designed to prevent injuries, as general contractors cannot afford for workers to be sidelined,” Schuler says.
